Client Overview
The Anthony Walker Foundation is a Liverpool-based registered charity providing hate crime support services, educational programmes, and community outreach. As part of a funded commitment to promoting equality and diversity across Merseyside, the Foundation secured funding to deliver a National Tackling Racism Award, working with schools and education establishments to implement and sustain anti-racist projects in classrooms and communities. CreativePixels built the online portal and landing page to support the programme's delivery.

The Challenge
The Foundation needed a dedicated digital platform to support their work with schools, without any existing web presence for the programme to build from. Key challenges included:

- Building a login-gated portal where registered schools and teachers could access training resources and track their progress through the Tackling Racism Award programme.
- The platform needed to feel intuitive for a non-technical audience of teachers and school staff who would be using it independently.
- Both the portal and the accompanying landing page needed to align visually with the Anthony Walker Foundation's existing brand and website, which CreativePixels had not built and had no prior involvement with.

Our Approach
The portal was the core of the project. We built a WordPress-based learning management system tailored to the programme's specific needs, with the landing page designed to complement it and direct schools to register.
- Built the portal in WordPress using an LMS plugin, creating a structured environment where schools and teachers could log in, access programme resources, and track progress through the award.
- Designed the user experience to be clear and straightforward for an audience of educators rather than technical users.
- Designed the landing page to match the Foundation's existing brand identity closely, ensuring visual consistency without having built or managed the parent site.

The Solution
The Anthony Walker Foundation now has a purpose-built online platform supporting schools across Merseyside in completing the National Tackling Racism Award. Teachers and school staff can access resources and monitor their progress in one place, giving the programme a proper digital infrastructure to scale from. For charities and non-profits delivering funded education programmes, this project shows how a well-built WordPress LMS can support meaningful work at scale.
